A Chance to Shine
June 1, 2024
10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Quarry Walk, Oxford, CT
A Chance to Shine is an annual event to benefit all BHcare programs. The funds raised will help countless children, adults, and families in your community as they strive to recover from mental illness, substance use, domestic violence and other health-risk behaviors. Additionally, this event raises awareness for our life-saving programs and celebrate the amazing communities we serve the Greater New Haven area from the Shoreline to the Valley.
Join us for a Walk to Remember in honor of Lori Jackson and those who may have lost their lives to or are survivors of domestic violence, mental health issues or substance use. We'll have a kids' bike parade, inflatables, touch-a-truck, lawn games, raffles, music by Morgan Skelly and the Old Crows and more.
Bring the family, and your four-legged friends, and help us raise funds and awareness for BHcare.

A Chance to Shine is an annual event to benefit all BHcare programs: The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, Hope Family Justice Center, Parent Child Resource Center, Alliance for Prevention and Wellness, BHcare’s mental health and substance use services. The event raises funds and awareness for our
life-saving programs and celebrates the amazing communities we serve in the Greater New Haven area from
the Shoreline to the Valley.
All proceeds support more than 12,500 adults, children and families struggling with mental health, substance use, domestic violence and other health-risk behaviors who receive BHcare’s comprehensive and integrated system of care with
wrap-around services. In addition, we shine a light on not only the services our friends, families and neighbors need but, on the survivors and thrivers who continue to persist and better their lives.
